Positive: The suite was well equipped with everything we needed and the location was excellent within the heart of the old town. George was an exceptional host who helped us with all our needs from helping with car hire to finding us parking to booking us hair cuts! Nothing was ever too much. The property was safe and secure in the most friendly neighbourhood.
Negative: As we were within the hustle and bustle of the old town it was not silent at night (we went with two children so we were going to bed around 10.30pm - this is early in Crete as most residents are eating at this time!!) I must say the window shutters and windows blocked out most of the noise. So it was only a very slight background noise. If you are looking for a very quiet spot then this would not suite as it’s in the heart of the old town.
Summary: A fantastic holiday in the most beautiful location. The host made this stay feel like a home.
